True Blood Vampire Sheriff Eric Loses His Memory

True Blood Season 4 – Episode 3

True Blood Vampire Sheriff Eric Loses His Memory

In this True Blood episode the Wiccan circle led by Marney including Lafeyette, Jesus, Tara are pretty scared after Eric’s visit. Marney doesn’t remember what chant she used to make Eric go away. Lafayette wants to go to Fangtasia and tell Eric that it wasn’t their fault and beg for mercy. Tara and Jesus try to stop him, but Lafayatte goes to Fangtasia. They follow and rescue him from Pam. Tara levels a gun loaded with wooden bullets at Pam and she lets Lafayette go, but warns the trio that they only have 24 hours to get Eric’s memory back or she said “I will personally eat, fuck and kill all three of you.” Pam is one of my favorite characters as she never deviates from her “tough as nails” stance.

Jason is chained to a bed out at Hotshot and has been bitten repeatedly by Crystal and Felton in their efforts to make him into a shifter panther. The Hotshot shifters are the epitome of ignorance. Jason begs them to let him go so he can get medical treatment, but Crystal feeds Jason viagara and then proceeds to mount him. Jason wishes he had never laid eyes on Crystal.

Vampire Bill the King of Louisiana is acting king like and enforcing brutal vampire laws.

Sookie picks up and brings Eric sans memories home with her and Pam asks Sookie to hide him until his memory returns. Sookie decides that she needs to get paid for her efforts.

Jessica and Hoyt have a somewhat rocky relationship. She takes off to Fangtasia and while there feeds on a human. She tells Hoyt and he is upset so she winds up taking the memory away.

Andy Belleflour is hooked on V and is becoming more and more irrational and stressed out. He accosts Sam Merlotte in the parking lot at the bar, makes unreasonable demands, pulls a gun then drives away in a rush.

In the year that Sookie was gone Alcide and Debbie Pelt have reestablished their relationship. Sookie was surprised to discover their relationship when she visited Alcide to ask his help to hide Eric. For any fans of the novels this True Blood version is quite different. In the Sookie Stackhouse novels, Sookie actually kills both Debbie and her sister, Sandra in self defense.

After King Russell Ed

Sookie’s fairy godmother Claudine arrives and tries to persuade Sookie to go with her, but she is attacked, drained and killed by Eric. Afterward, Eric sheepishly says “Sorry”

Charlaine Harris’s world of Sookie Stackhouse gives the writers of the the True Blood TV series a wealth of interesting characters to build on. As a devoted fan I highly recommend The True Blood TV series and of course all the Sookkie Stackhouse books.
